i was but a child at that time, and we really have to have hacoras hatov (thank you) to dan for all this and it seemed like here was a good begining :-)

The day after that I created ctownforums.  2 weeks after that was the last post I made on ctownforums.
And 18 months after that DDF was born, with a healthy dose of skepticism.

Reading his post from back then I would agree with everything he said. What he has done with DDF is amazing. The question I would have is what’s next for DDF. Is Dan satisfied with its growth rate and semi-targeted audience? Is he interested in going after the FWF and FT crowd? Does he want to take a shot at making DDF the next FB of the forum world? Inquiring minds want to know!  :)

I would imagine he wants it smaller than FT etc. so that we don't have people becoming bloggers...
