The rule with UA and US is that there are no rules.  Once you understand that you'll be able to HUCA and play with UA.com and perform miracles.

In this all doable online? From what I've heard, a lot depends on HUCA.

I've spent hrs trying different itin's online, and while I've found some decent 'savings', I know there's more lurking out there.
I've also heard that if you call up to make changes and they don't approve them, that it's entered onto your pax (or s/t of that nature), and when you call back, it could cause issues.

                              Dec 28 EWR-YYZ

I am trying to change the EWR-YYZ leg to Jan 3 keep on getting told no bec I already had a stop over on the way out. Is there any way to do this??

You didn't have a stopover on the way out, you had an en-route OJ (EWR // PHL).

However, because it's apparently viewed as a stopover, they don't want to let you stop again in EWR.

Try having the rates desk manuall price.

That's what I keep on saying. They seem to disagree. 

Now does anyone know if I forfeit EWR-YYZ will I get my luggage if connection was supposed to be a hour and a half?
