Eh, its a one time deal. Its gonna cost him some money, and he'll get himself on the map. He's getting his bang for buck, although he could've charged 100 and probably gotten the same

Dont they still have it? Although it's only rabbanut.

it could be they still have it, but years ago they changed it for the worse.   in the beginning, they put out a ton of rolls, and they had a sushi chef there the whole time literally making you whatever you wanted.     at some point they took out the sushi chef, and they basically just put out a bland mix of rolls.

it was always rabbanut, but at the time someone had checked out all the ingredients and was familiar with the mashgiach.   and i didn't know as much about israeli hechsherim ;)

If I have time, maybe I'll stop by later and check it out. I know the people who work there (surprise! ;)), so maybe we can work something out...

Didnt assume anything.  I have been told that the owner of Sushi Garden owns Eshkolet.  Jkhein said Landau owns Sushi Garden and doesnt think he owns Eshkolet.
