Elal issuing full refunds for flights departing up until 11/29

I have personally confirmed that in light of the current situation in the south of Israel, Elal will be issuing full refunds for flight departing to Israel up until and including the 29th of November. Changes for flights until the 29th will also be allowed however note that although the change fee will be waived the difference in airfare will still be collected.

However they are not refunding the $75 switch to direct fee.

Obviously this is as of now. If the conflict continues in the weeks to come I guarantee they will extend this, but if I'm"yh it ends soon why would they?

Just spoke with El Al and they said you need to cancel the day before your flight.  Cancel on the day of the flight and you will incur penalties.

I called 800-223-6700. Waited on hold for about 15 minutes. The agent confirmed that the flights can be cancelled and he said I have until the day of the flight to cancel. I called at 11am EST and it sounded like it was NY.

He said that they wont allow date changes on the MickeyG tickets but will allow the cancellation.
