Just cancelled my tickets for tonight. I called a few times and each time I was told that the $75 fee will not be refunded. I spoke with the Israel desk so maybe NY will give a different answer.
I figured it would be easier to dispute with Amex than waiting on hold for 20 minutes each time. Pretty bummed about cancelling and just wanted to get it done with...
Ceasefire! That's what you get for canceling a holy visit to the holy land!
Sorry for you.
We, on the other hand, are waiting until the last moment. Hoping for some sort of drastic change for the better... Although it doesn't feel like that right now.
The real issue we are having is putting our family under stress and unease while we are away.
Good you waited!
I can't see how staying in one place (which is what you wrote you is your desire) e.g. Jerusalem, wound put "stress and unease" on your family.
The place seems to be business as usual, there were only 2 rockets, with zero success, b"h!
