Even if this isn't dead this second, it's certainly a matter of time, and DoC's source seems to confirm that this time is in the very close future. This happens to everything that it talked and blogged to death. I don't know if we can even say that the fact that CPC bypass 5/24 would've been better kept quiet, although possibly there shouldn't have been so many articles about attaining CPC status without $250k in the bank.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Just FYI, according to my source CPC and high value customers will no longer bypass Chase 5/24. This is to "help provide a consistent experience for all credit card products and customers". Not sure if in effect yet or not.
What about JPM private banking?

I assume they fall under 'high value customers', but I could be wrong.

I think you're the only one who actually kept $250k with them.

Question plus DP:

I just became CPC last week. When I asked my banker, and the CPC toll-free number about the card, they tell me it will be mailed to me automatically in about a month. Is there any way to expedite the process and get it sooner?

Applied a week ago for DW (15/24) for CSR, IP, and CSP – all approved through extensive recon. Didn’t hear about the new policy, and applied for myself (20/24) on Friday (Dec. 9) for CSR, and was told by 3 different reps, including an elevated resolution specialist, that the new policy as of Dec. 7 doesn’t allow any recon even for CPC. Sounds like the game is up! Anybody else have any luck using CPC to get recon since Dec. 7?

I couldn't find the question here. How do you get yourself added to CPC if your immediate family member is one? He/She has to call a banker for you? Online? My wife's sister is one, so she could add my wife if she knew how.

Doesn't Charles Schwab offer the exact same with no deposit requirements?

Even so, you can do better elsewhere.
What other place do you think is better to keep that much liquid cash (operating expenses)?
ESP if it is split amongst multiple accounts...

Btw, if you have a business account linked to your personal, both accounts mobile deposit limits are limited to the lowest denominator (e.g. I can only deposit $2.5k to my CPC account, because I have a business account in the same login)

It's a bug in their system, but they don't plan on fixing it.

If it's money that's constantly coming in and out then you may be right, I was talking about somebody's savings or retirement fund etc...
