Chase Checking Account

Help!!

Opened for my wife a few days ago an account online, and trying now to access  it dosent go through,

So they say that the account is now in ´restriction ´and if she wont come to a branch with a ID + letter from Social Security verifying her Social in the next 10 days it will be closed !!!!!!

What does it mean? is there anything to do? (since im outside the US)

Try calling. You're allowed to open an account even when you're out of the US for a bit.

In DDF it's called HUCA. In English it means try again.

Well i use HUCA very very much, But on credit cards does it also work on Checking Accounts??

I can't tell you about Chase, but there are no shortage of banks that will open a checking account for you on line WITHOUT COMING DOWN  PERSON!

I am just wondering if everything on your record is ok or if that is what triggers this problem.

Looking at my chase checking account, the same I made a big deposit I got a "Misc. Credit" for about $20. It has a long check number next to it which doesn't match my numbers, and the image of the check says "check adjustment".

Anyone know what that is?
