El Al rescheduled me on a late Thursday flight

I am scheduled to travel  to Israel 11/29 on the cheap fare  and el al re- scheduled me for a 6 pm flight instead of a 1 pm, it gets into Tel Aviv at 11:10, I really not happy about that, what will I do if there is a  delay, I am traveling for a wedding and I want to make the aufruf that Shabbos.  What are my options?

what should I ask for, I can go on a Wednesday night flight but that is not great  for me, although better then the stress of coming too close to shabbos

Look at their current schedule and ask for whatever flight works best for you from JFK or EWR.

HUCA really did not work for me!

spoke to a rep on the Israel line and got no where,  she could not put me on the wed night flight, she says it is over booked, she could only put me on a Wednesday day  flight which is not good for me, I told her that I missing an event in Israel and now all screwed up, then I asked if I she could change my return from a 9:40 am to the early morning 1:00 am flight and she said no way, only if I change to the Wed daytime flight can they switch the return for me.  As per all your suggestions I tried to HUCA, this time on the 800 number,  and I got the same rep, she was quite annoyed and very unhelpful.  Now what?
