called once, they told me as i have no credit history, they dnt give cc's on faith. was advised in another topic that there is no point in huca

I would say it does not hurt to call a few times. HUCA has worked wonders. If that fails then start with a student card or store card.

HUCA right away. Try to give them good reasons to get them to approve you.

OK,
I've really looked around DDF for a couple weeks now and I havent found a post actually discussing the process of churning.
1. Is churning just applying for a card, then canceling it before the annual fee, then reapplying for it to get more of the bonus signup points?
2. If this is it- dont the CC companies see that you just canceled the card and want to re-open it the next day?

TIA

Just wondering- when I applied for my first CC three or four years ago (Amex starwood) I was approved right away to a 20k credit line.

Is that normal?

To the best of my knowledge, never was added on an AMEX card, but possibly/probably on a MC.

Last year I did. It was all clean with a score above 750.

Actually, the SW I closed before I did the report. Though, I did have a 37k credit line (with very low usage) at the time of the report from two other cards  I applied for after the SW.

is MY FICO is a legit credit check?
I apparently opened a gap card in 2009, bought and paid for a couple items, and now my credit is a 773. Does that mean i would probably get approved immediately for pretty much all cards?
