True that, but I fail to see how this can be portrayed as a resale
in truth i felt that it was closer to a resale than vice versa, i felt that it was my computer until he paid me, but at the same time if he had wanted to renege and leave me with a computer i would have rather pissed, so i really wasn't sure what it was. Since then whenever i buy anything for anyone on my credit card i tell them i am buying it and selling it to them and i usually round the price up to the nearest dollar as well

I can tell you from experience, anyone refusing to go to a Rav, especially where there is good reason to [go], is someone that should be avoided. Not just monetarily, but entirely.

Why unfortunately? don't all sides end up happy that way?
because I for one don't mind paying the other guy if he's right, and if I'm right I want my full money as well. I don't need a rav to compromise, I can do that myself I go to a Rav because I want to know who's right.

This creates a lot of interesting new problems:
1. In most situations, a Ben Pekuah needs Shechita Miderabanan, even B'dieved. [Although the Derabnanan status of such a shechita allows for a lot of leniencies - see שמלה חדשה יג:ג.]
2. In purposely breeding cows in order to negate Shechita D'Orayso, you are actively being Mevatel a Mitzvah D'Orayso, which creates interesting Hashkafah issues.
3. If a Ben Pekuah (or its offspring) breed with a regular animal and produce a child, that child is forbidden Min Hatorah, and all its offspring (however diluted) are also forbidden, and Shechita will not help. [שמלה חדשה יג:ו]. By making a ben pekuah common, you run the risk of it breeding with a regular animal, in turn producing a new breed of Kosher animal which cannot be Shechted. Any offspring of this breed would be "dominant", in the sense that they will always disqualify the next generation, regardless of the status of the other parent animal. This could further complicate the Kashrus scene, instead of simplifying it.

I would leave them in a protected area, just for BP.

I specifically mentioned sustained sh'chita so that the mitsva wouldnt be forgotten.

a BP from a cow that looks like a donkey is no problem to be eaten I believe.

The chachomim threw everywhere a maris ayin went they felt abuse potential  ;-)

are the BP halochos aplicable by a non jew. Dont just say no, think  :)
