Not always true; protesting while you can actually be doing something is a waste of energy, but if you can't do something, not even protesting can sometimes be taken as apathy or worse, support for the wrong side (case in point: all the countries who did not protest the holocaust were taken by Hitler as a sign that the world doesn't care if he continues).

And The PA seeking statehood in the UN in direct contrary of the oslo accords etc; isn't ?!?!?!?!
Also, i'm glad they found some war crime, cause it sure ain't the palestinians lobbing rockets at Israel's civilians and it sure wasn't the Palestinains sending in suicide bombers.
