going to israel with aa miles

i plan on going to israel soon so i was wondering how can i get the best deal i do have a ton of aa miles and wanted to know if maybe i can transfer those somewere and fly for a good value bec i currently get 1.5 cent a mile and if not what are the cheapest way to fly preferbly through aa like that i can get miles so if any has advice i would appreciate it
