« on: November 23, 2012, 11:45:20 AM »
On my next statements i will be charged the $ 125 annual membership fee. I really don't use this card anymore..... is there a way to get around this annual fee? Will i loose my points by cancelling this card....?

convert to one of the other thank you cards. Thank you preferred is free(also the plain thank you card is) U shouldn't lose the points by converting it
Always use an Amex, you'll thank me one day.

+1, the only thing u will lost is that ur points for travel will only be worth 1 cent per point, not 1.33.

Im in the same boat, last night I called and fist the CSR said he could switch the card then he said he could not (it might be because I made it a MC ). any advise besides HuCA?

also whats the best thing to do with my TY points if I do have to cancel, Im not planning any traveling soon so the 1.3 cents wont be helpful
