United
« on: December 03, 2012, 11:12:48 AM »
Hello all;

   Is there a way to get United to add my new "mileage Plus Explorer" card to my existing August 2013 reservation?  I booked it on Orbitz 11/12 + applied for the card at the same time.  I paid for the trip with another card when the Explorer card was held for for "security" foolishness.

Thanks
Brian

Just show the card at check in.

International one way tickets are never half price of a round trip, they are often more expensive than the round trip

I have a ticket on United from DTW-FRA-TLV - The first leg is in Business, the second in Economy.

A first class seat seems to be available on the DTW-FRA leg. Can they change my current reservation to that class even if my second leg isn't available anymore?

Yes.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I have a flight on United in economy. Flying with my wife and there are only middle seats available. Any way to get united to open 2 seats next to each other?

Just ask a United rep to seat you together when you go to the airport. Are you both under the same reservation?
