And manhattan ambiance. Went for a drink. maître d's both in uniforms of tight black minis with lots of leg showing like some AC casino was quite unsettling in a kosher restaurant. Cool upscale place but not up to Lakewood tznius standards by any stretch.

Is it still like this or did the tznius situation get any better?

I am having a hard time taking a conversation that puts Entrée as a Manhattan level restaurant seriously.

Tomahawk I've heard good things, I was there but it was too early to judge unfavorably.
Entree is not at the same level it once was. I wouldn't say the food was ever at Salt-level, but the ambience is not even close.

I've yet to hear anyone talk about the ambiance at Salt. Food is definitely good but it's always loud and noisy

Tomahawk was good especially for soft opening  but portion size wasn’t impressive. ChaQ is the best in town in my opinion.
Salt was good but definitely overrated.

It’s not so loud you can’t hear anything, but definitely not meant to be a quiet place if that’s what you prefer. I was referring more to the decor.

Agree. The fact that Lakewood restaurants are not at Salt level doesn’t mean that Salt is better than the best Manhattan restaurant. It’s just the best in the area. Hard to sound nuanced.
