Citi typically won't approve more than 2 cards per 60 days, but you're welcome to try :)

Why not do Hilton Reserve, Citi AA 50k Visa and Citi AA 50k Amex?

As I already told you, #postcountsaremeaningless, now now, what's missing from my post. Some advice, and suggestions, was I supposed to throw in the kitchen sink?

Keep convincing yourself you can school me, it'll only make you look stupid. I have hundreds of thorough posts on this site, just because I don't spoonfeed every n00b I respond to doesn't mean I'm incapable of it.

I did both the AA Amex and visa a year ago and now my annual fees are due. I called citi to consolidate and the only option the offered me was to close the Amex and move 5,600 of the 8000 CL to the visa and close the card losing the rest of the credit line. I should then be able to downgrade the visa to a fee free version of the visa AA.

How much will closing 2,400 of a CL hurt my rating?
HUCA?
Is there any experience around here to indicate a better approach?
