Are *A upgrade awards on AC (say, using SQ) available on all Y or B tickets (so long as any J seat is available) or is there a limited inventory (i.e. needs to be a mileage seat available or other bucket)? And does it automatically go from Y/B to J or is premium economy part of the equation? And is there a difference between using UA/SQ etc versus Aeroplan miles?
Trying to use SQ for YYZ-TLV which is notoriously stingy on award J seats (I believe max 1 per flight) and wondering if upgrade will work to go from Y/B to J. Thanks.

I was searching Intra-europe award flights on united.com and they displayed a flight operated by Flybe.
I know Flybe kinda partnered with BA, but is the possibility to book flybe with united points new? and is it only united or other star alliance partners?

I called Aegean airline and found award availability for TLV-EWR for 45k biz class was wondering how I can transfer points into my Aegean account I have united and American express rewards points is there anyway this can work ?

I believe spg is the only transfer partner to agean

Might have quoted you in Singapore dollars.
I find that with SQ the fees are always a bit more.

I made sure to get quotes in both SGD and USD, and I did the math myself. It's simply more. Can anyone with experience provide what they paid in YQ and taxes? I was quoted $553 in J (or SGD 778.40).

so over the summer i did an upgrade on UA from coach to bus and only got charged the addl miles + taxes. was about to book a coach seat and was planning to do this (dont have enough for bus and theyre not available anyways in saver yet) and called to double check and the person told me theyd charge me a $100/person change fee. is this correct?

edit: called again and when i mentioned UMPE card then he said thered be no fee.... phew

They aren't. No one transfers into Lifemiles but from time to time you can purchase miles from them for 1.5 cents.
