i was upgraded to premier silver in october and i flew to israel on dec 19 and back on the 28th but when i checked my account i didnt see the 7x miles bonus so icalled united and they said it cant be because they dont make mistakes but ater minutes on the phone she confirmed with me that this is the first time she sees such a mistake and then i gave her my wife's info and she confirmed the same mistake so pleasse all friends please make sure you check your account and confirm that you get your miles according to status i got an adjustment im the end

I called today sq and asked if I can book jfk - Fra on suits and then Fra -lhr in J ,  I was quoted 115k plus yq, I asked let's divide this into 2 separate tickets. It became jfk - Fra 57.5k and Fra - Lhr 25.5k. Sometimes it pays to ask

They are part of Star Alliance so yes.
Depends what fare class you are flying in. Don't know how accurate this is - http://www.wheretocredit.com/lot, so doubt check on the airlines website.
