Can anyone on here help me with booking a ticket using United miles on a Lufthansa flight for business class. no saver award showing up

For what date? If there is / will be then it should show up on United site.

Awards usally open up closer to travel date.

LH has expanded availability for their own miles, so just because it's showing there it doesn't mean UA can book.
Did you see it anywhere else?
Is the flight less than 2 weeks out?

The only other place I saw it was on Lufthansa website for 2500 usd
flight is 3 weeks out. I have plenty of United miles and 1k status...not sure if that helps

It has to be available for awards on a saver level to be able to book with UA. Not likely over 2 weeks out.

I am looking to use SQ in J to go to TLV, when I search on united it says there is space (not saver)- is there any trick I am missing? I am still a real noobie at searching for award tickets, any help would be appreciated. TIA

Not saver=can't book with partners.

ok, so whats the best way search then, I dont have to fly united, I know there will be YQ,

You seem confused. What currency do you want to use, on what metal, and where are you searching?

so singaporeair will pick up austrian and turkish etc.. if they are options? even if its 2 stops?

Search on United.com for SAVER awards only, or use Singapore's website.
In my experience, however, Singapore's website doesn't always show all award space and you may need to call if you see Star Alliance awards elsewhere that don't show up on SQ's site.
