Star Alliance Award Search Tips

Search on United.com for SAVER awards only, or use Singapore's website.
In my experience, however, Singapore's website doesn't always show all award space and you may need to call if you see Star Alliance awards elsewhere that don't show up on SQ's site.

I searched on united web site and did calendar view, I saw some business saver space on luftansa,  for 85k united, I called SQ to book it, she said she can only waitlist me and she cant do that on partner bookings. she also couldnt tell me what the YQ would be bec she could only waitlist me, HUCA? any idea what the YQ would be?

What is the best currency to use to book LH F transatlantic?

Trying to help someone book a trip to Israel for Sukkot. He has plenty of UA miles...is his only option seeing whats available on UA and booking accordingly... there is nothing direct and not much even with a normal stopover. Yom Kipur is Wednesday 10/9 so need to get from NY to TLV between then and Sukkot.

Search on United.
You can then book with LM, AC, SQ, ANA etc. Depending on your currency available and other configurations.
Check also https://www.awardhacker.com/ to see the cheapest one.
Ua & lm you'll never pay YQ. Others will depend on the airline. Not all the tickets showing on UA you'll be able to book with other partners, especially on lm.

Where do ppl see  awards for 7.5 (its possible they price it on the phone that way) but on the website it shows NA as 20K RT in Y and 30K in J
