I for one think that is pretty great availability, notwithstanding you can't find the JFK flight you're hoping for.

Strangely, if I search NYC-TLV some JFK flights appear (JFK-FRA-TLV) with availability in F. Same flights are not available when searching just JFK-FRA. (eg LH 401 on 3/12)Really weird. Is this a known UA bug?

Married Segment.
Got it.  But I thought that UA expert mode showed real inventory and would display O class properly, even if it wasn't bookable.  Guess I should have read this first: dansdeals.com/archives/60991

Typical married segment issue, you can try to have UA break it up.

Though UA expert mode only helped for UA metal. I've seen F as well over the last few weeks. Also watching for week of 27. Anyone of you waiting for 26th to open? Or 31st FRA-JFK?

Expertflyer shows Y availability for hkg-ord-lga on 8/1 on UA. UA site only shows route through Addis Ababa on ET. ?? who is right?
DW is not excited about the ET option at all.  :o

LH did open up some more F availability.
Right now only one seat on flight I'm looking for. Question is, since we are a party of 2, and already booked in J on that flight, is it wise to upgrade 1 pax to F and hope that they open up more later, or does LH only typically open up F one time (per flight) and that's it till takeoff? We'd rather not split into two cabins. FWIW the flight shows F7/A7/O1.

Book the 1 F seat and wait. If another opens, great, if it's doesn't, then cancel the 1 you booked.

SQ says they cannot split the booking on partner airlines.  And if we cancel and reissue, then even the J seat may not be available.  DROPR? HUCA?

I know it's a bit late, but you can only book eurowings using M&M.

UA website shows F4, A3, O0 on LH FRA-JFK when it opened there was O2 and i see 3 out of 8 seats booked. One of them is one of the O seats which i booked. Any experience on them opening additional seats even closer than 14 days, and how close? Would rather not sit apart from DW...she's in F for now im in J.

IME they sometimes do open more F seats as you get closer in, but A3 is getting tougher especially 1) on that route and 2) if they already released O2.
