That's possible. Just use ANA? It's cheaper and can be booked online

That's a clever idea. But if have to get them to hold the itinerary cuz I don't have enough miles for that.

Update: I held LIH-EWR-CDG, ZRH-EWR-LIH and they priced it at 70k per person.  I then called again to have them remove the LIH-EWR leg and they priced it at 72.5k per person. They basically just booked it as a 55k round trip to Europe + 17.5k for a 1 way to Hawaii
I asked if they could treat NYC as a stop-over and they told me the same thing: "No stop-overs in NYC"

If i book LH Business TLV-NYC with M&M is there any penalty for upgrading to First when it becomes available? how about changing airline and connection city to LX for example
