While not quite *A, CO.com was always great at showing VS availability. It didn't always match Virgins availability, they would hold the last (couple?) seats for their own members.

But now I can't get any VS flights to come up on CO.com

Is it just me, a glitch or is this a sign of times to come, the going away of the partnership?

Trying to book a continental reward ticket for end of January to Israel in business class. Its showing up online as 150,000 each way. Any ideas to get that for less?

You could ask a CO elite member to check for you. They have more availability.

Anyone can check.  Just search for a revenue flight and look for XN class for elite coach and O class for plat elite first/businessfirst.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Unfortunately not.
That's what sucks so bad about miles.
If you're getting them from a credit card switch to a cash back option.
Even if its a cent (or even less) at least you'll be able to use them...  ;)

Revenue flight is a paid flight.
By the right most box of every flight there is a link that says fare class. Click it and it will list how many seats in each class. If it says XN3 that means there are 3 economy seats available for elite members

If you are planning on using your miles, you should just use the regular Continental reward search. The above method is if you have a way to book the ticket from a Continental Platinum Elite account, you can check if they would even have availability for the dates you want before asking them, or pleading on the forums for someone to book for you.

I'm pretty new to this, and sure enough sitting a few days on DDF is starting to make me enjoy this game,
Im any case here's my question,
I'm wanna fly NYC-Poland On Jan 29 Poland to Israel on Feb 1 then Feb 2 back TLV-NYC,
I have over enough miles on my ultimate rewards and over enough on delta skymiles,
How should I go about it to get the best miles fare?
Or should i just book by travel agent and earn some more miles,
Whats the trick to this all to get the most on your miles?

Call a travel agent, get a price. Then find out if your flights are available with miles, and how many miles it would take to book. Calculate the value of those miles, and decide it it's worth while. You can also take into account status and redeemable miles earned when taking a revenue flight.
