Is there a cheaper way to book Austrian J NYC-TLV other than united?

By cheaper I mean fewer miles without having to pay YQ

IINM United is the only *A carrier without YQ on Austrian. Every other option M&M, A3, AC, SQ will charge you YQ on OS.

Totally different ballgame. AC does not charge YQ on LX for sure, i think LO is the same...but availability of LO is much more scarce. I've also had phantom availability of 2 seats instead of 1 on LO when searching on AC. So be careful if you're looking for more than 1 seat.

LM doesn't have YQ on any airline, just like United.

No. I can take it to booking page. That should indicate its not phantom.

With UA it usually errors out upon completion of booking.

Though I did book LH space with UA that didn't show on AC.

M&M have no YQ on LO

I just checked and you are correct, However, online it's showing an extra $75 fee pp listed as "domestic/international surcharge"

any idea what that is, and if there is a way to get rid of it?

Sorry for mentioning it, really

On a second thought, I stand corrected. When I search for LX with m&m the YQ of $181.32 is listed under the same category "domestic/international surcharge"

Which would suggest the $75 charge on LO, although relatively low, is indeed YQ

Can someone please help me as I cant find the answer.
I have  been getting crappy mileage points for flying on united. Dan always says its usually better to  "credit" the points to Singapore. My question is, if I do so, how can i book a flight on United using singapore points? call singapore by phone? Also, is  the rewards the same as united redemption? Meaning, a trip from EWR to FLL lets say is 12.5k on united portal, It will cost me 12.5 singapore points? how does that work?
Lastly, is it good for all flights, or only selected ones, like avios only works on Super Saver for american..
APPRECIATE it greatly!!
