Can someone please help me as I cant find the answer.
I have  been getting crappy mileage points for flying on united. Dan always says its usually better to  "credit" the points to Singapore. My question is, if I do so, how can i book a flight on United using singapore points? call singapore by phone? Also, is  the rewards the same as united redemption? Meaning, a trip from EWR to FLL lets say is 12.5k on united portal, It will cost me 12.5 singapore points? how does that work?
Lastly, is it good for all flights, or only selected ones, like avios only works on Super Saver for american..
APPRECIATE it greatly!!

Partners only bookable on the phone. You can first search on United website for Saver availability and then call SQ to book.

Yes you should. In general the members of this forum are very willing to help but have an expectation that people make the effort not to make it more difficult than needed. That is simple manners as well. Part of that is to not clog the forums with double posts and to try to find the answer already posted. Also included is to make your post way to read by using punctuation in your sentences. It can sometimes make you add it in on a phone. That is still less than any post someone makes to try and help you. Please follow simple etiquette.

Looking for SAA business class for end of June to SA and Beginning of July to JFK. I have been monitoring it for quite awhile and have not seen any availability. Of those who have booked SAA business awards, will availability open up closer to the date or should I not expect any availability?

Don't rely on it. If it were to open it's usually closer to the date.

1. Does ANA F availability go back into inventory when you cancel a hold?

2.Can I transfer to VS from 2 MR accounts on same day?

[Disclaimer,  I am relatively new at this so if this is written somewhere else that I have not found please reference me to it]
I was searching ANA for J for my wife in October (TLV-NYC-TLV), I could not find availability for all the segments in J, at least one segment of JFK-ZRH was in Y which would not be great because a. it's an overnight flight and b. it would limit the baggage. So I went about checking everyday only to find more options similar to this one with an SQ segment to FRA in Y but nothing all in J. Then I tried using the multi class/city option and chose TLV-NYC; NYC-TLV manually and lo and behold I was able to find for her return trip OS in J so I booked it and had it ticketed with the outbound flight LO TLV-WAW-JFK in J and the return flight JFK-VIE-TLV in J. In light of my experience I would recommend trying this since for some reason when searching just for a RT flight between TLV-NYC the OS flight did not show up but when searching in the multi city option it apears and I was able to have it ticketed.
I would also be interested to hear if anyone can explain why this is.

It's usually a good idea to check availability leg by leg on UA and then call to book if it doesn't show up on another partners site.

I am looking for JFK - HKG for Dec/Jan. I am looking for First or Business using Alaskan Miles on a Cathy flight.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to search for availability?
