The only advantage (if searching for a specific non-stop flight) on an airline specicfic site (which operates the actual flight), if you are willing to pay extra miles for enhanced availability. (In my oppinion rarely worth it).

If one books a UA award ticket from a non-elite account, can he or she cancel that reservation within 24 hours without penalty?

Yes, all UA tickets are cancellable for 24 hours.

I have on hold JFK-FRA-BKK. How can I add a BKK-CMB leg on the same itin? Is it possible to do online?

I don't think you can have more than 3 segments on 1 itinerary without ~~calling~~ having a UA rep call you

So will they just add it if I call, or did I mess up by putting the JFK-FRA-BKK portion on hold online?

Also, is there a booking fee to do that?

Call in to add.

Don't make the mistake I made a few times that I put it separately on hold, and then called in to merge, because they'll have to cancel one, and you're not guaranteed that they will still have space available then.

What's the best way if I am starting from scratch? Hold one portion online and call to add the second, or try to do the whole thing on the phone?

Before adding the leg there were only taxes of $72.56.

I added the leg and now it shows this (see pic).

The rep said the "fees will be exempted" when I book.

Can I trust that or do I need to call back and make sure they're removed?

There's an option to "reserve" once you select the flight.

hi can i book a ticket with ana with having to pay big time for foul ?

is it still worth transfing poins to and i have there 50k i wont to use it to go to isreal and they charg me 700$ for foul what can i do
