Oh, right. I still have an israeli address on my MM account from years ago. I was thinking he talks about United for some reason. Yes, I had a US address until a European relative asked me to book a flight, so I changed my address, no problems.

First of all it's only for flights originating the middle east, not vice versa.
Also, it's not that they don't have 3 region awards at all, it's just that it's considered as if you're originating Europe. But if originating Europe would make it as a 3 region itinerary, you would still be subject to a 3 region awards.

When booking with ANA, NYC-TLV with a stopover in Europe, can I call in when I see that a direct flight opens up to change to the direct flight?

(this is a general question, I just have in now with ANA)

AFAIK there has been both - with issues and w/o issues. Its not recommended if you don't actually in Egypt or Syria (I think Israel as well).

ANA is not flying to Israel.

Do you mean flying with ANA miles on United (or any other *A partner and paying heavy fuel charges)

Correct, and IIRC you can add up to 10 family members.

in ANA website, if I could not find an award roundtrip ticket BOSTON-SHANGHAI. But instead, I can find an award ticket BOS-EWR and an award ticekt EWR-shanghai using 7 day availability option.
Can I call ANA and tell them the flight numbers. Let ANA book the roundtrip ticket for me ?

When i call ANA and tell them the flight numbers to book boston- shanghai trip, i need to use 65k or 85k miles ?

If because flying from BOS would add more then 18,001 miles it would be 75,000
