In any case when it's available on SQ saver award, it's a pretty good redemption using SQ miles. No savings with UA for 70k.

Standard award on SQ R is still a relatively good redemption in my books.

Despite all the attention the suites get - after trying both, I would take LH F over SQ R.
How cozy and private a suite might be, you're still pushed and jailed in a skimpy room for over 8 hours.
I much more appreciate open space and air to breath.

Stopovers are not available for one-way Saver Award flights.

Singapore Air- i keep getting the above error message when trying to book the suites from JFK to FRA. Im booking in November, one way.
Any Ideas ?

Not sure if you're referring to a specific airline (or if that even matters), but I booked a free <24 hour stopover on a 1 way Saver award. VCE-ZRH-FCO on LX.

The only airline you can book suites on is SQ.

The only miles you can book suites with are SQ.

<24 hours on an international itinerary is not a stopover.
