Family member flying United Class K round trip TLV-EWR-YUL

I want to credit them to a *A airline where i can combine them with mine (like BA household account)

Are there any programs in *a that allow that and are worth crediting to?
I don't think so. On a side note, A3 I only earns 50% on UA K class.

Doesn't pay to use LH since it's a different country. The only BIG deal for LH is that a domestic same country flight is very cheap.

No

I called them and they charge $100 if you make a stop over but they are VERY strict with backtracking.

What is backtracking?

Say I fly SIN-LHR. Now in 2 months I want to fly to JFK for the $100 fee on SQ. But there are no direct flights so you have to go to FRA or MUC you now have "backtracked" you are going back towards your departure city.

So I can't book SIN-LHR stopover then FRA-JFK?

IME. I booked MEL-MAN. and called to see if I can book at a later date to JFK they said NO since their wasn't any direct flights even with partners available and I would have to go to FRA. And an open jaw from FRA is probably also backtrack

I am trying to book TLV - FRA - JFK, flying SQ suits from FRA. their website says saver is waitlisted.

1. anyone have experience, do they typically become avil?
2. which airline flies TLV-FRA? can't seem to find any direct on united website.
3. how many total miles and YQ will it cost? and will i get the 15% web discount since TLV-FRA can't be booked online?

Thanks!

Waitlisted suites rarely open up. Business almost always opens close to departure.
LH.

Yes, but availability is not great. LY is flying that route as well. I would book separate LY J for 30k AA miles and separate SQ suites with SQ miles.

They have a baggage interline agreement.

Good to know.  Is there somewhere online where this information is available? (i. e. see which Airlines have agreements with others)
