Try reinstalling the drives for the wifi card. Also set a static IP
how do i do that
http://blog.mclaughlinsoftware.com/2009/11/26/windows-7-static-ip/Set your IP as 192.168.1.XIt really is only pratical to set a staic IP if you usally use internet in the same place - e.g. home...
So then try to just re-install the drives, or look if there is an updated one.
With wifi drives, typically you have to use the one specifically for the laptop. You could go to device manager. Select to Uninstall the driver, reboot the PC and if the Intel driver isnt saved it might be installed with the windows one.
weird when i went to update the second driver on that list Microsoft said they cant verify the publisher of that driverEDIT: same for the third driver
here are the drivers can i disable some and wifi will still work
That happens often.Very possibly.Even if Wifi Stops working, the ethernet port should work, and you should be able to connect to a router like that to download the drivers
I would just uninstall the device but select don't uninstall driver, then right click and scan for hardware changes and let it find and reinstall the device automatically, I've seen this work many many times
how do you uninstall the device
you have to select and highlight the device in question - I.e. Intel wireless.... And then hit delete on the keyboard
