All seats on flight occupied - Will I get a seat?

I'm flying tomorrow with El Al and I just went online to select a seat and all seats are marked as occupied.

• Is this usual?
• Does that mean I will get bumped?
• What can I ask for if they want to bump me?

Normally, some seats are blocked off for elites, handicaps, etc.

Call and they'll assign you a seat.

Same happened with me all seats were 'full', officially they lock up all the seats 24 hours before the flight. They like keeping seats open so that they can move people around, elal actually is very helpful with moving people around (at the airport) they told me who to talk to to switch with because they were flying alone..

The days of being bumped have passed, last time I heard a "bumped" announcement was approx 5 years ago, not that it dosnt happen anymore but it is much rarer

Passengers get bumped all the time. I am not familiar with your exact compensation from El Al.
