What's a good AMEX card to apply for or any card in general

Hey guys, whats a good all around AMEX card to apply for(or even any card in general). I dont really know all these different types of Amex cards, and I'm not sure of what to apply for. I dont travel THAT much. CLE,FL, but not many places so I would like a card that would be good for travel but at the sae time for all around. Any input would be great Thanx!

As a general best Starwood Prefered Guest as Dan has mentiontiond a thousand times (search dansdeals.com or the forum for a million explanations why)
