1 way is to fly 25k and become 1st level Elite.
It's a Citi rule.
You can do the chAAllenge and fly 10K within 90 days.
Or earn on SPG and transfer to AA.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

it should but that will be good for 1 time, unless you get all the spending done before you lose that you will need to find a way to get it again and most Carriers match but 1 time, now if you can open another AA acct get the miles and then have them merge them both is anyones guess

you cant always use Amex not everyplace takes it, so even if he could it would still be a good thing for him to have a Citi AA CC. A friend charges a ridiclous amount every yr but the vendors they deal with wont take Amex could be the samething with AS

Well my goal is to make million mile lifetime so I don't mind about the one time status match

I have a spg limit of 2k yet spend 50-75k on it a month prepaying, there's only so much I can prepay

AA doesn't status match, just a chAAlenge.
DO NOT start the chAAlenge until June 16 or else it will only last until 02/28/11, if you start 06/16 or later it will last until 02/29/12.

Don't really need it now, but if I need it to be able to use my AA card for more than 100k a year I'd do it
