The difficulty in finding a "deal" on a silver Menorah is that silver is a commodity, and also pretty high right now. You may find a Menorah for a great price, but it will be either weighted ( hollow and filled with wax, or even another metal to make it feel heavier) or possibly silver plated. Generally for new menorahs with a simple design you can expect to pay the weight in silver plus a few hundred to cover the costs of manufacturing. Now if you are looking at an antique Menorah or Italian design, you can find deals- but those will still be much more expensive then the Hazorfim or the like with a similar weight. The deal would be that those menorah are worth much more then just scrap, or their weight in silver.
