Anyway to use Ultimate Rewards points for an El Al ticket (from USA)?
If so about how many points would I be looking at?

I have had trouble getting any ly ticket with aa booked and I tried many dates.
I sure hope they will fix it soon.
(But I wonder whether after the merger with us airways is complete it would still be possible as in a certain sense they will be competing)

So for El Al it's only El Al point or maybe/at-point AA but nothing else?

Then is my best best for best price on El Al to use the search engines (kayak, vayama) ?
