it depends on which carrier u have.. Verizon doesnt do early upgrades so wouldnt be able to.. but att does do early upgrade so u should be able to get discount if u extend ur contract.. However I beleive that bbs price for iphone 5 is 699 as opposed to apple 649.. so doesnt make sense..

Thanx for the breakdown,  although I'm not sure what you mean.

With Verizon,  I can (and did) go to verizon.com and order an iPhone at full price. It will extend my contract for 2 years from that date.

My question is, if I buy an iPhone at bb and accept to extend my contract (but I won't get discounted pricing), will I still get $50 off?

Either way, like you pointed out,  its $50 more expensive at bb so it's not worth it.

If I get this with verizon as I am eligible for a upgrade and than change back to my old non smartphone will I still have to pay the data? Or will I be able to pay what I was paying untill now? (I'm on a family plan)

With Sprint the data plan only changes when you activate, so if you purchase online then flip the phone or use it for a different like your plan doesn't change.

I want to order this now but it seems you only get the $100 BB credit when you order from rewardzonemobile but it's going for $199 there. What am I missing?

ETA: Also the points seem to be Best  buy mobile solutions points instead of rewards zone points

Yup BB really outdid themselves this year! they have price matched me numerous times and didnt deduct the promo gift cards that came with.....
