Basic question
« on: May 27, 2010, 07:32:32 PM »
Hey guys,
just a little help needed:
Which card is better?
Amex Blue

or Amex Blue Sky

I know starwood etc..., but I'm trying to trade a JB card in for a free one, so which one is the better one?

Just some background info: its only for minimal spending.

Am I correct in assuming the Blue reg., because its MR? or the Blue Sky, because it gives $100 off travel after every $7500 in purchases?; in other words, are MR points worth anything in small amounts, and is that all I should be looking at to pick which card?

Thanks a ton!!!

P.S. is there an even better free AMEX; all I'm trying to do is switch a JetBlue card for a free one, so...

AMEX Blue gives fake membership rewards, they can't be transferred into miles.

Is the $3.75/month that the Starwood card costs after the first free year not worth it for you?

If you're looking at the free blue cards there's also the blue cash card.

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thats not the issue...
I want to keep the account open for my credit report, and if I switch it to a starwood, I don't get the bonus...I think it has to be a new app.
no?
