And thanks to Revel :D

Can finally compare these to Ungers, because Breadberry last year was MEH.

Sesame is definitely at the top of the list. Must be a coincidence that they raised the price this week.

Tasting Bagel Nosh's Hanukkah Donut Offerings

By Daniel Eleff

As a food lover, I was thrilled to hear that Bagel Nosh, my go-to spot for all things doughy and delicious, was offering a special Hanukkah donut menu this year. I just had to try it out for myself!

So, on the first night of Hanukkah, I made my way down to Bagel Nosh to sample their special holiday offerings. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint!

First up, I tried the esrog jelly donut, which was filled with a generous amount of esrog jelly and topped with a dusting of powdered sugar. It was the perfect balance of sweet and slightly tart, and the dough itself was soft, pillowy, and cooked to perfection.

Next, I sampled the cottage cheese donut, a traditional Israeli donut filled with a dollop of creamy cottage cheese and topped with a sprinkle of sea salt. This one was a real treat! The combination of the tangy, creamy filling and the salty topping was simply divine, and the donut itself was perfectly fried and crispy on the outside.

But perhaps the standout of the bunch was the latke donut. This unique creation was essentially a savory donut, made with a potato latke-style dough and filled with a creamy horseradish sauce. It was a truly innovative take on the classic donut, and I loved the bold flavors and texture of the latke-style dough.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with Bagel Nosh's Hanukkah donut offerings. Each one was creative, delicious, and perfectly executed, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next year! If you're in the area and looking to indulge in some festive, doughy goodness, I highly recommend giving these Hanukkah donuts a try. You won't be disappointed!

I guess one thing ai developers need to work on is to give it a gag reflex...

Ironically, I was in a Lakewood grocery store tonight with a takeout and they had - no jokes - a donut brisket sandwich. It was a regular donut with colored frosting and sprinkles, cut in half and filled with brisket and some condiments. I don't know, maybe it tastes good, but it definitely took away my appetite for a bit.

TBF the original prompt mentioned 2 normal donuts, and finished with the latkes. I inspired it to think of some unique ideas.

One of the shops near me goes all out every year with donuts. There are about fifteen varieties on the shelf this year.
When I walked in Thursday, they also had fresh pizza bagels. When I asked if the "bagel" was really a donut, I don't think they understood I was joking. "No, I don't think so, but I didn't make them."

Oh wow! Dan it looks like you had as many donuts as candles we lit (including shamoshim!)!
I think I put on a few pounds just looking at these scrumptious pictures!

I personally had a few delectable homemade donuts over chanuka! Who says cheaper can't taste better?!

Not sure if sesame ships to Cleveland, but if you’re in BP i would recommend walking the few blocks to Tam Eden. IMO they beat sesames by far

Lemon Meringue: 2/10
Yes, the dough is good, but the sheer chutzpah of selling a $5 "Lemon Meringue" donut that has no meringue and has canned lemon pie filling boggles my mind.

And don't get me started on the pistachio.
