I have a feeling anybody that swears by a specific store, likely was hungry when they bought it and they're mind just got hooked on that texture/flavor as the gold standard.

I've eaten donuts from a couple of stores they all tasted roughly the same and are all good. The only difference I've noticed about some is the thickness of the dough.

I've yet to have eaten a bad donut. Actually nevermind I think I ate one of those shelf stable donuts. Horrible. It tasted like sugar crystals.

Most donuts taste very mediocre to me compared to Ungers. Still searching though.

if you’re in BP i would recommend walking the few blocks to Tam Eden. IMO they beat sesames by far

PATIS - sold out last year every day - this year with the gift cards will be nuts!

Royal donuts. (tastes great- better than some others, but to be honest, it is missing the extra $5 cost and the half cookie/half wafer roll/whip cream on top).

Weiss, Strauss, Breadsmith are all popular

Schreibers. Hands down.

Gotta try taam eden

Can someone rank these please? We need 1 bite donut reviews.
Any particular donut the highlight at any of these places?

I have not tasted virtually all of these donuts, but based on the quality of other products I have tasted, I'd bump Patis and Taam Eden to the top of the list.

Moved out of Flatbush a few years ago, so can't speak to everything here, but I'll try. You know the rules.
1.Schreibers- Their trademark donut. Small, but light, airy, and delicious. 8.7
2.Patis- I actually had the Paris Brest Donut yesterday. Very impressed. 8.5
3.Sesame- Personally I love the white chocolate donut, but it's incredibly heavy so plan accordingly. 8.1
4.Breadsmith- IINM they (used to) have Cronuts 7.6
5. Weiss- I don't specifically remember their donuts, but as a bakery they are tremendous. 7.4
6. Royal Donuts- Classic no frills donut. Kind of like the Bagel Nosh of Brooklyn wherein most wholesale donut orders are through them. (minus the cake donut.) 7
Never had Strauss or Taam Eden, though I have to try Taam Eden now.
ETA: If you want to do an easy walking tour, Schreibers on Ave M and East 5th, then Sesame on L and Coney, Bagel Hole on K and Coney (CMIIW I think they sell royal donuts) Weiss on M and 13, Patis on M and 17, Breadsmith on M and 18.

OK, we're on the same page it seems  ;D

Will these places have donuts on Wednesday?

Sesame dairy donuts: $5.25

White milk chocolate: 8/10

Yes. I forgot that Weiss in Flatbush closed a few years back. Though the BP branch is next door to sesame and minutes from Taam Eden.

Just to confirm, a salad correspondant is someone who speaks to salad, right?

Using that definition, the only qualified individual for that job is Charissa Thompson
