Bump.Besides Ungers, natch.
Ungers makes doughnuts? I thought just gefilta fish...
...it's like you weren't even in Cleveland to begin with.
Haven't had groves yet?
I have. Double the price, very stingy on the filling, weak custard, and nothing that competes with apple fritter or cinnamon.

These donut discussions always go circular like this. Like the wheel of teams that beat each other in the NFL. Sesame sells who knows how many thousands of donuts but all the people fressing them like cows will tell you, "meh. The best donuts are from <obscure bakery out of town>." You drive to that bakery, fress a dozen of those, and then say, "actually, the 3 day old jelly donuts on the shelf at kol tuv at 1:00am on Motzei shabbos are the best."
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Was it filled? Or just had a topping?
Grove's donuts in Florida are sterns.
Filled

Not a fan of miniature wedding cakes with 10,000 calories worth of toppings. I’m a simple man. Give me a jelly doughnut from bagel nosh, they’re the best around.
FWIW I was at Salt, Charq, WSG, Lamppost, and Tabernacle recently,
I'm trying to figure out if the appropriate joke to respond with should center around a financial advisor or a nutritionist
