It's a very hard job to have when you have kids, so I guess it makes some sense.

I still don't really believe that he and other bloggers are always flying on points, especially when he says in the article that he doesn't do a lot of the MS stuff (not an exact quote).

My travel is much different, that's for sure.

And blogging occupies every waking moment, so arguably its my family that suffers more than the blog.  Ben can spend 18 hours a day doing it without neglecting anyone.

Most of the bloggers don't.  They didn't even cover cards at all until 2011...

Doesn't that depend on the blogger themselves ? Meaning, if your devoting too much time to blogging then the family suffers, if your devoting more time to family, then the blog suffers.

My takeaway from the article was, the world of 1st class flights and 5 star hotels, while def. nice, isn't all that... if you look at the hidden costs i.e. no family, extreme loneliness, boredom on flights, etc. it's definitely amazing in moderation, but like all good things, the key is moderation... i.e. don't fly in 1st class 24/7 and be severely depressed. Honestly, at the end of the article I found myself feeling bad for him- must be really lonely...

Difference is that you have a life, and a family that gives you (I hope) true nachas. He kinda admitted that at the end of the day, he has no life!
