You don't think they are handing them out to him? Publicity the airlines can get from him must be worth a million miles a year. No? I mean the importance of a good online presence is so big nowadays.
He says he buys miles (on promotion). He buys every single cheap business class fare. And supplements the rest with CC signups. Not all that crazy
If you believe that he flies as much as the article implies, there is no way that alone is sufficient. Unless he flies on hundreds of FD's a year.
You don't have to "believe" the article. He clearly documents on his blog how much he flies.
