amex gold card
« on: January 16, 2011, 04:13:33 AM »
Weird... I canceled a gold card mistakenly, and called back a few hours later to reopen it. They had no problem, they reopened it for me, and told me that my old balance would be on the new card, and i would receive my points when i pay the card. I had a balance of about 450$ and i had canceled b4 i got the points. So i reactivated the new card and i never saw my balance... i saw old previous transactions but no balance. And i also never received my points... Anyhow i called today and i told them i would like to pay for my balance but i cant see the balance of my old card online. So the rep guy said no problem ill tell you what ur balance is.. hes looking and he tells me there's no balance. I said there has to be i purchased on this card a 450$ purchase at the end of November, and i never paid it. He said there was no purchase than, and there's no balance. Now im SURE i purchased it on this card, and he said anything you purchased on the old card would be transferred over to this card. So they lost my purchase, which i dont mind, and they lost my points, which i dont mind either being i got a free computer. weird. anyone else have such a situation?

I applied for the PRG a month ago,  and got hit by 175$ annual fee a fee days ago.
Did anyone such a thing before?

Maybe your offer didn't waive the annual fee the first year?

You can put her on phone for a minute giving you authorization to speak. Or if your wife has a Jewish name you can be her  ;)
