If you dont't mind, can I ask what store besides JAB still accept returning payment to a debit card?

Lacoste? Walmart? Though at Walmart recently every once in a while I get a sales associate who doesn't let me.

I suppose to. But will any store actually let you choose debit and let you key in your pin? Not sure.

Plus if you actually swipe and press Debit (and enter your pin) the money will go into your bank account INSTANTLY.

Yes, by me it showed immediately as pending but wasn't available till later (probably the next morning, don't remember), but when I swiped as credit it took a couple of days.

The PIN part is where the red flag comes up. I would just return to the Debit card as credit and wait a few days for the funds to post.

Not every store accepts that. And if your going to put huge purchases on Amex a lot...it might trigger an FR.

It could be because it was being abused and got shut down. When stores get too known about this and people make stupid mistakes like calling managers about this...it's a done deal.

do you think that would be a smart idea. alerting every store that allows cc changing on a return, by having a thread STORES YOU CAN BUY WITH 1 C.C AND RETURN WITH ANOTHER??
