what miles are worth

I'm sure this was discussed many times before but I can't find it. So feel free to point me in the right direction. I would like just an approximation of what American Miles are worth and SPG miles. A guesstamate is fine.
The reason I got into this question is because I'm trying to get a flight for Purim to Miami Beach from NY (2/21 leave NY around 3pm, back 2/25 leave around 8pm) and the prices are crazy. Regular AA mileage awards aren't very available either. So if it's worth it, compared to the dollar price, maybe I would up the mileage. Anyway, not much luck with the flight or the condo on Collins. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It has been discussed but you will not find it because the thread was deleted due to some people trying/starting to sell/buy over the thread.  However, if you put the dates you'd like to travel in these two threads (depending if you want to pay cash or use points)...people will reply.

Yup that is alot, right around 2.7 cents per point for DTW and CLE!

You are correct,  it is 9k RT from NYC->YYZ/YUL . But the part you're leaving out is the $55.11 fees.

I think u mean across the US, across the globe would cost a little more than $5 tax..
