I would look to book a one night stay in Manhattan for this motzie shabbos 3/21.
Where would I be getting the best bang for my buck?
(Are there any sales/promos I going  on now?)

Budget is ~$200

Thanx.
Your best bet would be if someone has that night in the omni berkshire, post there and see if someone would sell to you.

What about this:
St Giles The Court New York City $58-112
Great deal on St. Giles New York City. Only see one dates so far. We're sending out before checking all dates so may be worth looking. 4 star hotel a couple minutes walk to Grand Station and Fifth Avenue.
Room: Standard $58, Suite $83, Executive Suite $112

Either one.

Subjective, but most would probably say yes. It is also very new, so still a big deal.

PHNY does not have standard rooms left for points nor P&C, so best they could do was $400 and 30k HGP for a Park Suite or $600 and 30k HGP for west side Suite (supposedly better) or Junior Suite for $875 and 6k. I chose the first. We will be in NYC 5/6-5/7 evening for less than 2 full days and staying at PHNY for one night only; before our JFK-MXP flight. Should I just look elsewhere or is it worth keeping? Thoughts on alts? I'm a Plat btw.

So I take it that it's not worth it?

For me? No it's not worth it. For you? To each their own.
