also did not realize no so easy to find scharais minyan in the area wall street synagogue does not have a scharais minyan anymore;

Best bet might be Tribeca synagogue

You can look into downtown Brooklyn on the east river  as well if ur having a hard time with minyab
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.

You probably won’t find street parking. But there are many lots right nearby for less, if you cate to save $20.

Is there a concensus regarding easiest hotels to stay at over shabbos? Anywhere in the city, any chain/ independent ok too. Ideally something more upscale.

we loved the ihg (points) LES Indigo, u can use steps and get a low floor with an actual small outdoor space for eating a nice shabbos meal. Also stayed at the beekman which was very shabbos friendly (internal steps/just put a magnet/tape on the door lock slot)

both places are nice (but the eruv is something u should ask your LOR about). LES was amazing davening at all the old shuls, and the week we went was the yahrtziet for the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangle_Shirtwaist_Factory_fire and the stanton shul (more of a left-wing modox shul but with singing and clearly a lot of love) had an interesting kiddush and discussion.

beekman was further downtown but there is a great chabad of tribeca with a fantastic sitdown lunch (at least pre-covid) and when i was there they also had a great chazzan (who may or may not be frum, but can sing). we walked around the parks and just explored downtown manhattan on shabbos and it was interesting.

Who would be the best person to reach out to in regard to hotel upgrades in the marriott brooklyn bridge? Does anyone have experience over there? Not sure if i should try to speak to the magaer directly, but it looks like he is a 'shvesterkind' (-borrowing a term from israelis, if you get it) based on this linkedin page https://www.linkedin.com/in/sam-joseph-ibrahim-92745845
