Its all at the crew's discretion. I don't think they're allowed to let two people in at once, but I may be wrong.

The fact of the matter is that the large bathroom plays more of a role in my EK preference than the actual shower.

Correct, but as you point out, any individual FA could allow it.

Just asked an EK FA.

Not allowed. In fact if 2 people sneak in its supposed to be reported to the ground where depending on route and passenger you could be met by security. Very bad idea to try it on DXB bound flight as security always meets the flight. Nothing will happen on flights to Europe/USA

Just like an elevator has to have the max occupancy posted they probably also have to. It doesn't say that 2 are allowed it only says that more than 2 is forbidden.

FAA regulations.

They allow a child/parent and elderly/care giver, which they wouldn't be able to if it would say 1 occupant.

My guess is that the food on the FRA-SIN leg comes from Frankfurt and is thus much better.

I know someone flying tomorrow night all the way and I will ask them to report back
