I might be in the minority here but I wouldn't cancel anything unless you see good availability on the return...

I was half-joking.. I had to contact some pretty important people to get that waitlist pushed through so quick.

I tried really hard. Some big wig at SQ even came to the gate to apologize to me that they couldn't do it. So I wouldn't hold my breath.

I did... I called before, they said they will try but can't promise, this was out of JFK.

AFAIK EX JFK is the key, I didn't see any DP about other cities.

2 hr, 35 min connection in SIN should be enough to spend the right amount of time in the private room before boarding right? From reading reports it doesn't seem like I should need more than that.
