Correct, like I said no one uses the stairs inflight, especialy in the first class area.

Been dying to take home some SQ pillows. Never had room in my carryon though

I always bring an empty bag in my carryon to fill with goodies,or just ask them for a duty free bag like lucky does...i guess a garbage bag would work as well.

Based on my personal experience on the A380 F, ive only flown on LH and SQ and no one uses the stairs while inflight, they  close the stairs during the flight, I would choose row 2.

Seems like the only row with three full windows perfectly lined up in your suite is row 3,imho that would make 3 better than 1 or 2 (if available)  no?

I just read today that they have changed the seats on most of there a380 to a much nicer design
Anyone knows what route it is and how I could know what plane I am getting?

I was assigned row 4, but Row 3 was available, I guess the passenger did not show up and I was allowed on Row 3, but for sleeping I had the twin beds middle suites. I doubt most SQ A380 Suites fill up to capacity, are you just doing JFK FRA?mines was SIN>NRT>LAX

Lucky just had the new design from jfk to fra so you may be in luck,although his impression is that just the seat color changed.
